Introduction - Task - Conclusion - Evaluation

Project #1 - Project #2 - Project #3

 -

Introduction: Welcome! You are about to begin a webquest that will help quide your learning and research of Native Americans. Remember to read all of the material carefully and follow directions. You have each been assigned a project number. Each project is slightly different, so read yours CAREFULLY and do not worry about what the person next to you is doing- it might be different than what you need to do.

Task: You are to research
one of the topics about Algonquin and Iroquois Indians. You may choose which category interests you the most or that you would like to research. (Food, Habitat and Shelter, Clothing, Travel, Tribal Structure, Alliances, Weapons andTools) Next, look below for the task that has been assigned to you by your teacher.

Conlcusion: By the end of this project, you will be knowledgeable about the similarites and differences between your lives, and the lives of the Algonquin and Iroquios Indians. You will also have become familiar with proper note taking and use of a Venn Diagram to organize your research. This will be a skill you will use throughout your education!! You will also have completed a well organized written piece and a visual representation of what you have learned! It sounds like a lot, and it is...but I have no doubt that you can each complete the project if you work your hardest. Good Luck!

Evaluation: You will be evaluated using 2 different rubrics. Your written report will be graded using the Written Report Rubric. Your oral presentation will be graded using the Oral Presentation Rubric. HINT: Read these rubrics before you begin your project so that you know what I am looking for!
